English teacher

Sao Paulo American school is looking for applicants to fill the vacancies in our Humanities Department. Full time teachers will teach * academic subject content courses (* Daily) and may be required to supervise activity courses / clubs. There are many courses and / or clubs in the Humanities Department, including but not limited to: general and honorary English *, general and honorary English * *, American literature, world literature, speech, news, drama, creative writing, geography, general and honorary American history, general and honorary world history, and many more AP courses! Typical teaching responsibilities include:
*Plan, prepare and deliver courses and activities from approved syllabus and group planning meetings.
*Organize classroom and learning resources, create a positive learning atmosphere, and encourage students to learn.
*Use methods that suit students' needs and interests, while catering to individual differences.
*Use various assessment methods and processes to improve students' learning.
*Provide reliable feedback on students' progress to students, parents and colleagues, and maintain positive professional relationships with parents.
*. participate in and assist in promoting school curriculum, development and implementation projects
*Undertake or participate in school activities, activities and other tasks when necessary.
