Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and deliver English lessons and student club activities;
2. Prepare and submit appropriate teaching plans;
3. Assess students'work and provide feedback;
4. Attend staff activities in order to be up to date with educational policies and special procedures;
5. Maximum lessons: 20 per week (40 / 45 mins)
6. Office hours: According to schools'arrangements;
7. Students'age: 3-6/6-12/12-15/15-17 year-old;
8. Class size: 40 ;
9. Must be willing to be involved with school life.
Selection Criteria:
1. Bachelor's degree or above;
2. Over two years of teaching experience or Possess an English teaching qualification, such as TESOL, TEFL, ESOL, CELTA or PGCE, etc.
3. Non-criminal background check;
4. Deliver lessons focus on English speaking, reading, writing and listening skills using an appropriate level of English language;
Compensation:
1. Monthly salary 10,000-15,000 (in RMB yuan), negotiable for highly qualified teachers;
2. Housing allowance 3,000 (in RMB yuan), or off-campus shared accommodation;
3. Social insurance;
4. Public holiday;
5. Summer or Winter holidays with basic salary;
6. Reimbursed residence permit, and obligatory medical check-up;
7. Regular teaching training provided by Haida and your school;
8. TEFL in China course available free of charge to Haida staff (conditions apply); 9. Opportunities for promotion and career advancement within Haida;
10. Ongoing team-building activities;
11. RMB5,000 airfare allowance on completion of contract;
12.7 days of Hotel provided upon arrival.
