EF English First Tianjin and Jinan are currently looking for the right candidates to join our teaching community. Why should you apply?

Tianjin, a great place to live! Tianjin is a modern, developing city which has retained an authentic Chinese way of life. Tianjin has a reputation throughout China for being extremely friendly, safe, and offering delicious food. It is also inexpensive. Being the ancient port city of Beijing, Tianjin has a rich history. Cultures collide in the streets of Tianjin, from European mansions to classic Chinese architecture, both residing happily in this city with a colored history.

Jinan, a great place to live! Jinan is the capital, as well as, one of the largest cities in the Shandong Province of Eastern China. The city of Jinan has a very rich historical and cultural background. Jinan is often referred to as the “City of Springs” because of its large number of natural artesian springs. For anyone looking to move to Jinan, the people are very friendly, the food is extremely delicious, and the cost of living is quite inexpensive. A definite recommendation for an ideal developing location to work and reside.

In contrast to the multitude of employers in China, EF Tianjin has been in operation for over 19 years (Jinan opened two years ago), employs over 80 international employees, only uses fully sponsored legal Z Visas, always pays on time, and continues to grow as a business unit.

Provided resources and curriculum. All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards (IWB) and extensive resource compilations. Our course materials are state of the art and are designed to be engaging and intuitive for both learners and teachers.

The job? Providing young learners with a full skill learning environment with up to 20 hours of teaching per week, over 5 days a week with 2 consecutive week days off each week. Hours vary in peak periods, includes weekend and shift work. Class size of 12-16 students. Administrative duties including lesson planning and course tasks (Eg. Taking attendance, assigning and marking homework, administering and grading assessments).
