Dunqiao English was founded in 2014 by Adam Thacker, a British gentleman. From a small and warm family English training studio, dunqiao English has developed into a professional school, dedicated to building a bridge connecting the world, the future and crossing the language gap.
We adopt the British education system, have a group of experienced and dynamic Chinese and British teachers team, build the English immersion context, uphold love, patience and responsibility, and accompany you to the world.
Teaching philosophy:
After teaching in China for more than ten years, Adam Thacker has deeply understood the learning status and needs of Chinese students, formed his own unique teaching method on the basis of integrating the cultural differences between China and the West; adhering to the concept of a spirit of excellence, he insists on doing every little thing to the end. He pursues excellence and leads the dunqiao education team to let more students feel the beauty of English, so as to truly put what they have learned into practice.
Course concept:
Our curriculum arrangement is presented in the form of theme, and small class teaching is adopted to break the hard pattern of traditional language training institutions. Teachers can make students of different learning levels find their own starting point in the classroom and fully cultivate students' interest in learning English. More than 60 textbooks have been independently developed by our teacher team, covering all kinds of subjects, vocabulary and grammar. The classroom adopts the mode of combination of Chinese and foreign teaching, full English teaching, card teaching, and various innovative interactive links, so that students not only enjoy the English learning process, but also substantially improve their language ability!
