EF EF Education, known as Education First, was founded by Bertil Hult in 1965. EF belongs to private enterprises. It has 16 subordinate organizations and non-profit organizations, providing various educational courses, including language learning, overseas travel and degree courses, and cultural exchange. In line with the mission of "education, make the world unbounded", EF has helped people of all ages and nationalities to become members of the world's citizens. Today, EF EF education has spread over more than 50 countries around the world, employing more than 40,000 people and helping more than 15 million students. EF EF education has turned the world into a big English classroom. EF Education's global headquarters are in Lucerne, Switzerland, and China's headquarters are in Shanghai.
