Established in 1984, Lizhong Group is a multinational group company specializing in R&D, manufacturing, casting, deformed aluminium alloy, automotive aluminium alloy wheels, micro-nano functional alloy materials, metal molds and automatic metallurgical equipment manufacturing. Its products are mainly used in automotive, high-speed rail, power electronics, aerospace, machinery, ships and other fields. After more than 30 years of development, it now owns Lizhong Alloy Group, Lizhong Wheel Group and a listed company, Sitong New Materials (Stock Code: 300428). By the end of 2018, the total number of employees in the group was more than 10,000, and there were 30 major companies.
Lizhong Alloy Group has 13 subsidiaries, distributed in Baoding, Qinhuangdao, Tianjin, Changchun, Yantai, Guangzhou, Qingyuan, Guangdong and other places. It has 900,000 tons of alloy production capacity, 76,000 tons of production and sales in 2018, and more than 300 users. It is the largest foundry aluminium alloy enterprise in China. Group Technology Research Center has more than 120 academicians, experts, senior technicians and other scientific research institutions, including Hebei Light Metal Alloy Materials Industry Technology Research Institute, 3 academician workstations and 6 provincial engineering and technology research centers. The Center has passed ISO/IEC17025 National Laboratory Certification, and has established long-term and stable cooperative relations with many universities and research institutes at home and abroad. He chaired and participated in drafting 8 national and industry standards, undertook the national "863" project, and obtained more than 180 national patents and 160 scientific and technological achievements. Tianjin Lizhong Alloy Production Line has been appraised as the national digital intelligent aluminium alloy casting and energy efficiency monitoring demonstration production line.
Established in 1995, Lizhong Wheel Group now has 12 subsidiaries, which are located in Baoding, Qinhuangdao, Tianjin, Baotou, Binzhou, Shandong, Changsha, Hunan, Thailand and the United States. At the same time, it has established offices in nine countries. It is one of the large-scale aluminum alloy wheel manufacturers in China. The group has more than 400 kinds of wheel products, more than 2000 specifications and models, with an annual production capacity of 20 million, and an annual production capacity of 1200 sets of wheel moulds. In 2018, the production and sales volume exceeded 18 million. The Technical Research Center of Wheel Group has more than 200 professional technicians, and has established a national enterprise technology center, two provincial engineering technology centers, two National Certification Laboratories and two post-doctoral innovation practice bases. It has obtained more than 280 patents and more than 100 scientific and technological achievements.
