"Tom's House" belongs to Beijing Capson Education Technology Co., Ltd. In 2010, he began to devote himself to English education. His predecessor was Beijing Inheritance New Language Education Technology Co., Ltd. Tom's Home Haining (Xucun) Campus joined in March 2018.
"Tom's House" focuses on the educational brand of English education for children and the cultivation of ecological learning of mother tongue. We introduce the American education system and model for children and adolescents into China to create a family-style English learning atmosphere with American characteristics. It is the first efficient learning center in China that focuses on the comfort of children and adolescents'education. In "Tom's House" children aged 3-15 can get all-round English promotion.
Children aged 3-6 use Midi English multimedia teaching materials, which include colorful interactive games and thematic features, perfect reading and homework books, so that children can enhance their language ability from games and music. There are six volumes of textbooks, which are classified according to their levels.
Children aged 7-15 use our Discovery Island (hereinafter referred to as ODI), an original textbook imported from the well-known publishing house Pediatric Education Group in the UK. With the concept of learning and exploring, ODI textbooks complete the tasks of the main islands through interactive activities in English, and develop children's cognitive, emotional and social skills. There are also 1-6 levels, and the students need to be tested to determine the level.
* General Situation of Xucun Center
Scale:
Xucun Center currently has a campus with a total of 580 m in June 2018, it was officially opened to the outside world. More than 150 students have been enrolled since the opening up. Among the students, there are more than 80 kindergarten students and more than 50 primary school students.
Class mode:
We adopt the small class teaching mode of cooperation between Chinese and foreign teachers. Students in each class are controlled between 8 and 10. Each lesson is taught by a foreign teacher with pure English input. Secondary school teachers play a supporting role in controlling the quality of class, assigning homework after class and communicating with parents regularly. Students attend classes every week after school or on weekends. Two lessons a week.
The center regularly organizes activities, such as open classes, inviting parents to participate in the classroom to witness children's progress; Mid-Autumn Festival Garden Event and Halloween Party; National Day and Christmas Festival performances to improve children's speaking ability and sense of expression; Outdoor English classroom, combining classroom English knowledge and life; Monthly birthday theme activities, bringing different English to children. Language learning experience; English Culture Festival is held every Christmas, and the first cultural festival was successfully held last year. Parents and students like it very much and take an active part in it. Tom's home emphasizes not only the quality of teaching, but also the quality of service to improve the sense of experience of students and parents. At Tom's House, children have a full range of growth program services in the English environment.
Teachers:
At present, there are 3 full-time foreign teachers and 5 full-time secondary teachers in campus 1. Both Chinese and foreign teachers have teacher qualification certificates. Foreign teachers come from English-speaking countries. In addition, the center has four market managers and operators.
Environmental Science:
The purpose of the center is to create a more open, more comfortable and more liberating immersive English learning environment for children. Coming to the center is as comfortable and natural as returning home to learn English. When decorating, environmental protection, safety and health-oriented materials are selected and tested to meet the national standards before they are put into use.
