Starting in Beijing in 2008, First Leap was established as an afterschool English program for young learners. First Leap looks to blend Chinese local teachers and international teachers to create a dynamic global environment for students to learn in. Based on the principles of CLIL, First Leap’s in house curriculum blends Chinese learning styles, western education, and
immersion learning. First Leap merged with TAL in 2015. The company mission is to promote education through science and technology, with a customer focus, and to deliver a comprehensive educational package. This has allowed the company to expand and strengthen its brand and reputation as a strong competitor in the educational field in China.
