Maple Foreign Language Training Center was opened in 2015 by a Canadian ESL teacher. Located in the city of Arongqi, Inner Mongolia Province in China, It was the first ESL school to have a permanent native English speaking teacher in the city. We use interactive digital equipment as well as more conventional flash cards, toys, and other props to engage the students in learning. Music, games, and even dance are a part of every lesson. In our classes, both the students and the teachers are encouraged to have fun. We keep class sizes to a maximum of 12 students so everyone has a chance to participate and have some one-on-one interaction with the teacher. We focus on getting our students to speak English as much as possible in class and to learn practical ways to use the language in daily life.
